Limited-Edition SACRIFICE Vinyl Box Set Due This Fall

February 25, 2006

Profound Lore Records are tentatively planning on issuing a limited picture-disc set comprised of the first three albums (1986's "Torment In Fire", 1987's "Forward To Termination", and 1990's "Soldiers of Misfortune") from Canadian thrash legends SACRIFICE. "As some of you recall, the first three SACRIFICE albums have been masterfully reissued with pure class and integrity from Brazilian label Marquee Records, and indeed this will be one of our greatest undertakings to produce such an all-encompassing package," reads a Profound Lore press release. "If all goes as planned, this picture-disc set should surface sometime in the fall."

Since their inception in 2004 with the release of a MELECESH 10" EP titled "The Ziggurat Scrolls", Profound Lore has continued to "help take extreme musical artists' vision to another level through various methods and ways, whether it would be through limited special edition vinyl releases or through other special releases that reflect an artist's pure musical vision to the furthest degree." Other sought-after releases from the label include:

XASTHUR/LEVIATHAN - Split LP
AGALLOCH – "The Mantle" 2LP
LEVIATHAN - "A Silhouette In Splinters" LP
ORPHANED LAND – "Mabool" 2LP
